Vision & Calling

Ethnos360 (formerly New Tribes Mission) is a church planting organization focused on reaching people groups who have never heard the gospel. They work in some of the most remote areas of the world — places where geography, language, and lack of infrastructure keep missionaries from doing their work. Their vision: indigenous churches reproducing and thriving without outside dependence.

Lord willing, Kyle will serve Ethnos360 field teams in west Brazil by building and maintaining the technology infrastructure that makes missionary work possible. That includes networking and internet connectivity in remote locations, server administration, communications equipment, solar and power systems, and on-the-ground IT support for Bible translators and church planters. The goal isn't the technology itself — it's removing the technical barriers so that missionaries can focus entirely on the people they're called to reach.

Missionaries can't do their work without reliable technology. When a satellite link goes down, communication with the outside world stops. When a power system fails, work stops. When there's no one who knows how to maintain the network, productivity grinds to a halt. IT is often the invisible backbone of remote missions operations — and it's chronically understaffed. Kyle's skill set (Linux, networking, MikroTik, Proxmox, servers) is directly applicable to exactly these kinds of field challenges. Every problem he solves frees up missionaries to focus on what they came to do: reach the unreached.
